Touch of the North is an event group run by the incredible Danny Amir and Jayne Levy. Splitting their time between Wisconsin and Florida, they host a wide series of water sports events throughout the summer.
With multiple live events each year, and new ones coming every year, we've been working together to create awesome graphics inspired by a life lived on the lake.
The Lake Lovers Club is an organization looking to bring access to towed water sports and awareness of local ecosystems to everyone.
"Dedicated to embracing the lake life, protecting the future of towed water sports and increasing participation across all disciplines & ability levels. We’re focused on developing future athletes and boating enthusiasts as well as spreading general lake etiquette and basic towed water sports knowledge & safety."
I met the electric pair behind ToTNE, through mutual friends at Powers Lake (imagine that)! Fresh out of college, I was itching to get started making awesome shit. I had shown my sketchbooks to a buddy of mine, who immediately raved about his awesome friends, Dano and Jayne, and how they had been looking for an illustrator to help bring some life to their events.
One short meeting later and the connection was obvious. We needed to collaborate... and we've been working together ever since.
Shout out to Dano & Jayne—love you guys!!!
